Steamflaking of grain for stockfeed is known to make more productive stock feed as it improves feed conversion and animal growth. It is widely used in the USA and is now available here in NSW / Vic through the Hume Country Mill. Steamflaking improves the energetic efficiency through improved ruminal and total tract digestion of the starches and through improving its physical attributes.

We are able to sell Steamflaked grain by the truck load or smaller quantities. It can be freighted including in trucks which can be blown into pellet silos. We can produce steam flaked barley, wheat, corn and lupins.
